The Golden State Warriors

Ras Kass / Saafir / Xzibit

Anything Goes
from Ras Kass – Soul On Ice (1996, Priority)

H20 Proof
from Ras Kass – Rasassination (1998, Priority)

Battle Drill
from Saafir – Boxcar Sessions (1994, Qwest)

Smart Bomb
from Saafir – The Hit List (1999, Qwest)

Paparazzi
from Xzibit – At The Speed of Life (1996, Loud)

3 Card Molly (feat. Ras Kass and Saafir)
from Xzibit – 40 Dayz and 40 Nightz (1998, Loud)

Lets take it back to some good ol’ west coast boom bap from what was to be The Golden State Warriors, Ras Kass, Saafir and Xzibit. I wonder what that album would have sounded like had they actually put their heads together to make it happen? I guess we will never know… or will we? Grab these and reminisce on how good they all used to be. They all still handle the mic good but not at the quality level they did in the last millenium. You cant beat that selection I just posted up. It’s the first of the month, wake up, wake up, wake up, wake up.

  1. Yeah, good track selections from the (infamous) Golden State Warriors. I like “Anything Goes” Remix as well.
