Flows like a Breeze, stings like an MC

Breeze
“T.Y.S.O.N.”
“Steadily tryin to flow like..”
“Watch the Hook”
from The Young Son Of No one (1989, Atlantic)

Today I’m hittin ya with MC Breeze of the LA Posse off his solo album. LA Posse was on some nice production courtesy of Dj Pooh. The opening song “TYSON,” cleverly name checks the young reign of Iron (pre-bitin) Mike and laces snippets of Ali wit the signature smack talkin. Also, I dont think this is the same MC Breeze from Philly, what do you think?

  1. You’re right, it’s a different Breeze. He was one of King T’s homies. “T.Y.S.O.N.” is an old favourite of mine, the beat’s dope.

  2. Damn good post. Thanks for bringing back some good memories.

I’ve been looking for this shit for years. Used to have it on tape, but lost it years ago. Now If I can just locate a copy of that song loungin, I’ll be all set.
    Thanks for the post.
